John F. Metcalfe - President & CEO, Holmes BioPharma, Inc.

As President & CEO, Mr.Metcalfe's leadership skills and in-depth marketing expertise help build strong partnerships with bioanalytical labs and strategic relationships with leaders in the U.S. and international pharmaceutical and biotech industries. He oversees the administrative operations and corporate development initiatives for Holmes Biopharma and works with Qualia's management team to ensure the company meets its operational budget and sales objectives. Mr. Metcalfe is the primary point of contact for all parties interested in learning more about the business and investment opportunities with Holmes Biopharma. A consummate team player, John holds a key role in the company's strategic planning and vision for the future.

Dr. Sohail Khattak, MD, FRCP(C) - President, CEO, CSO, Qualia Clinical Services

Dr. Khattak has worked extensively in the research field for over 18 years. Dr. Khattak has served on scientific advisory boards for several leading pharmaceutical firms, and has authored several scientific articles and abstracts. He is a fellow of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University Of Toronto, Vice Chair of Neuropsychopharmcology/ Inflammation Sub Committee of ASCPT, as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Over the years, he has served as an advisory board member for leading drug companies including Abbot, Novartis, Jansen Ortho and Shire Pharmaceuticals. His body of work includes research, design and supervision of Phase I, II, III and IV trials, organizing first-in man studies, setting up bioequivalence, bioavailability and ADME studies. He has also overseen the writing and implementation of clinical Standard Operating Procedures working with the FDA and other international regulatory bodies.

Dr. Khattak is a member of multiple drug research and medical associations including the Canadian Medical Association, the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Society of Clinical Pharmacology, the Drug Information Association and a Board Member the Occupational Health Clinics of Ontario. He has received many awards for his research, particularly in the areas of pediatric oncology and pregnancy. He has published numerous papers and peer review articles.

Dr. Khattak continues to aid in the further clinical research with affiliations as Staff at the Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at The Hospital For Sick Children, Toronto, Canada, as an assistant professor, Department of Pediatrics University of Toronto, Canada and as a research associate at Trent University, Ontario, Canada. He continues his work in the pediatric field and presents at leading international conferences.

Azhar Kalim - Chief Operating Officer, Qualia Clinical Services

Mr. Kalim has over 16 years of the CRO industry experience. In 1993, he worked with Phoenix International Life Sciences as senior analyst in the LC/MS-MS lab where he quickly moved to management of key scientific personnel. He joined a major CRO in 1997 as Principal Scientist, Bioanalytical Services, where he managed the overall scientific conduct of studies and later joined the business development team where he successfully managed a significant portfolio of major biopharmaceutical clients. He was later promoted to Senior Director of Business Development where he was instrumental in the strategic development of key accounts and responsible for managing several million in sales. Mr. Kalim most recently worked with BA Research International in the capacity of Vice President, Business Development where he was able to further develop his management and sales skills.
